I set out to explore extreme biological forms with the help of AI, focusing on intricate elements like skin and organs. Not really a creature investigation, it's mainly rendering research, I'll use properly soon.

I didn't want to create photorealistic images, it needed to be slimy, sticky, stylised concept art. This required precise control of detail, rendering, and form. Simple initial sketches provided the foundation, while AI work was handled using a bespoke offline model. Two texture and skin models were used in the pipeline to handle the complex rendering of skin textures (no actual organ or gore images were used in the data)

The process proved to be rewarding, offering a satisfying balance between hands-on design and the unpredictability of AI generation. It was an effective way to develop non-humanoid Lovecraftian shapes with unique and unsettling designs.
